Waroeng Sangkar is a picnic site in Aceh Besar. It is quite remote from the city but it is a remarkable location to visit. The location is not seated alone but also there are some other picnic spots which offers some kinds of attractions and services. To reach the Waroeng Sangkar, the visitors should drive about 20 to 30 minutes passing hilly routes and fantastic view. Indeed, the access is well maintained and allows cars and motorbikes. Although the price is pretty much expensive but it is OK to enjoy sometime.

i’m from malaysia and this is my first time coming here and definitely coming back in the future. the food was super delicious and drinks was great too. the service was exceptional and excellent. finally the atmosphere and scenery is one of the most beautiful scenery i’ve ever seen.

Love the place, best for family, especially when it’s off season. It’s calm, windy, calm. The food is quite expensive but worth the price! 10/10 would come again soon.

A bit far from Banda Aceh City. The views are amazing and suitable for healing spot, food and beverages are okay and a bit pricey.

The beef ribs soup was delicious, but quite pricey and there were more bones in it than meat, lol. Not too many food choices here though, but the place is nice, looks clean and well maintained.
